I would have thought fraternities would have faded away by now but I guess they still exist in St. Lawrence County where one frat has been suspended in Canton because of frat boy activities, as in hazing.
This story doesn't say what happened and I remember vaguely attended a fraternity keg party in Potsdam in the 70s. There was even Greek at schools like JCC then.
At some point towel-snapping gives way to growing up with an occasional throwback episode like the one reported on by TV 7, although more details would be needed to judge whether it really is "disgusting".
