The site initially considered for what is now the Salmon Run Mall has finally been sold to a potential developer. Land on outer Bradley Street off Interstate exit 47 has been purchased by Purcell Construction for use as an industrial park. Proximity to rail and I-81 makes the property valuable, but for a quarter century the building has occurred a couple of exits to the south.
