It may seem to some Watertown is the only place in the world to have rules concerning fences, but not so...Just across the border in Kingston, a debate is underway on what height fence is allowed. Current rules say six feet. A proposed by-law increases it to eight.
What's curious is the Whig article frames the debate in feet, not meters, probably because the law was written pre-metric.
