Remembering veterans is what we do tomorrow and there are all sorts of ways to remember including in Dayton Ohio this weekend where the four surviving member so the Doolittle raid on Japan were honored. Eighty airmen originally took part.

Not all vets were part of such a historic event as the 1942 raid that proved America could fight back after Pearl Harbor and could extend power to Tokyo if needed. Following the spirit-lifting raid America went on to victory at Midway and began its island-hopping campaign to liberate the Pacific.
In Watertown tomorrow, vets will gather at the VFW on Bellew Avenue at 10 AM. The public is encouraged to take a few minutes and stop by for the recognition of all vets.
