       Not a very classy roll out for Eliot to announce his divorce from wife Silda but hardly surprising as it would be pretty difficult for Mrs. Spitzer to endure this latest spate of publicity as hubby was splashed in the tabloids for his new relationship with hard charging political operative Lis Smith, 23 years his junior.
        

    You can only be stoic for so long, I guess.  Imagine if he had won that Comptroller primary.
