Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is running for reelection. The flamboyant and embattled mayor of Canada's largest city has filed necessary paperwork for next October's municipal elections. I believe such elections are non-partisan.
Mayor Ford says he is the best person for the job and that his personal problems were just that, personal, and that the people can decide.
They certainly can. The facts are out there and either you like him or you don't. If he can moderate his behavior and show the traits that first got him elected, he has a shot.
It will certainly make the campaign interesting to a world audience.
