    With Colorado ( one of the fifty states in the USA) now allowing legal and open sale of pot, it would be an interesting NNY story to hear what all the task forces and substance abuse professionals think of the very clear message from the Rockies.
    The message is....it's OK to smoke the demon weed. What will happen in high school health class when someone asks about Colorado and Washington State ?    It's not like its Cambodia or some African place where we can dismiss them as "different".  OMG, these are Americans who worship the same God and flag as New Yorkers.

    In the news business in the early 80's I remember covering those busts with cops standing in front of plants. You'd do your stand up in front of the evil plants and feign outrage....Then that weekend you'd be at a party and someone from TV or the paper would light up.
    It's been duplicitous for years, but let's not legalize it in NY. It might devalue the drug I sell.
