Let's Go Jet ! Promoting Kindness to Animals During the Holidays

        Last night the pound employee who hooked me up with Jet...(yes I had inside help) was at the bar and I brought her over and it was amazing how Jet reacted. She remembered how well she was treated by Jefferson County in a pound where a generation ago it was seven days and you're gone.
       Jet spent nearly three months in Glen Park before the "sale" was made.

     The mainstream media is a little tone deaf on the issue of promoting the adoption and rescue of  animals during the holidays, even though the photo possibilities are endless.  I hear it was the County Administrator who insisted the tone and tenor of the county pound change and for that he deserves kudos.
     Hoping to be home for the holidays...That would be my Sunday feature before Christmas...
