Life on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is not cheap but some people are finding a way to live in a tony neighborhood at less cost...by living in a camper.
Just stay one step ahead of the cops writing tickets and living in NYC is possible.
A smaller footprint for your life is a way to get by in tougher times and who says you need a McMansion to be happy. There's nothing like living in Manhattan. I remember a fundraiser held in an Upper West Side apartment the year I ran for Senate. It's a nice neighborhood of stately old apartment buildings that I could never afford to live in.
But for ten grand, there's really nice camper will all the trappings at one of those West Main Street car lots here in town. Pick that up and take it to NYC and start living large.
