Precincts in Rochester are slow reporting in those Cape Vincent elections as officials await word from a judge on the legality of many absentee ballots, many thought to be from seasonal residents favoring the town's anti-wind supervisor, Republican Urban Hirschey. Some insiders have said the absentees are lopsided enough to reelect the incumbent who was trailing by 75 votes on Election Day.
What ever happens, It will be under a cloud and the rival factions will continue warring.
