Progressive Oregon has become a pretty much blue state and embraced the prospect of affordable health care. However the state's website hasn't been able to sign up a single person on line for private insurance...However the state has swelled the ranks of Medicaid by 70,000.
Why wouldn't you take the free health insurance, unless you are someone so phased by the stigma of welfare you can't bring yourself to ? How many of those people are left ?
Oregon's policy makers had been warned their state website was not ready but forged ahead anyway. Sound familiar ?
