Council to Seek Return of Shoe Store

       City Council decided it made a mistake last year when it sold the former Berow and Monroe shoe store back to a man who had let it go for taxes. Council did so based on representations that turned out not fulfilled.  The City will seek reversion of the property.

       Council briefly discussed park hours with Mr. Butler and I agreeing to disagree......Lawmakers also agreed to sell two small downtown parcels to Neighbors of Watertown for their development of the Empsall property.
      Council also approved several reappointments to boards.  All in all a quiet meeting.
