A 56 year old Georgia insurance executive is one of the two Mega Millions winners and will take home $120M after taxes. The other winner in California is still not known.
Congrats and kudos to them both.
As a Lottery agent I marvel at the differing fortunes of the selling locations. The San Jose retailer gets a million dollar bonus based on CA rules granting a percentage of the jackpot to the store. In Georgia, the agent gets nothing.
That's how it is in NY too. Of course, if I had won I would have taken care of JR, as anyone should with that much money.
